I’ve been sitting here looking at these notes in my journal for the longest time, just trying to figure out how to write this down in a way that will be true to what the guys were saying without putting any of my own slant to it. I don’t think anyone of us actually slept more than an hour at best. It wasn’t long until we were all out in the water doing our version of skinny dipping. In other words we all left our underwear on all except for Lex and his kept falling down. That was one of the funniest things I remember about that day. I think we must have talked half that night. Eventually we got in Clark’s old beat up Gray Ford and drove to IHOP. There was just something really good about that night and our talking.
