Just for everybody's information, I'm back stateside now. The flight's went well; I realized it was the 8th time that I've done the crossing, and I'll say that by this point it doesn't seem nearly the big deal that it did the first time.

So far I've indulged in real American smoked bacon, and real pancakes. Next on the list: Milkshakes.

The past week has been rather eventful, though not in any especially significant way. About four days ago, I purchased a barbecue--Hilda and i walked down to the Homebase here (think Home Depot or HQ), and they were just putting them on display.
