This was really beautiful. You had me a bit worried at the beginning. Not knowing what dream had 'spooked' Emma so. I like how you went full circle through Emma's day. From playing with the 'adorable' Claudia, I can understand the little girl being upset, to trying to keep busy at work, and then the wonderful Hotte...always there for Emma!I especially like that neither of them can sleep without the other. It was sweet that Jenny had practically the same dream. Another great chap of real life. Of simple fears and concerns that can pop up in a relationship. Bravo!!!!!! Another Sunday night smile =)

Thank you so much :) I liked the idea of one day, just 24 hours, and the many different connections we have with the people in our lives that we have hand-picked to be our family showcasing exactly why we chose them in the first place. I’m so glad I could make you smile. :)

oh little Emma who panics...to discover that nothing is wrong. That Jenny won't leave her for a (sweet) dream and on the contrary she have had that dream, too ( ... )

I agree, Hotte should come back, and I’ll see what I can do about making that happen, but I like that even though he’s so far away they can both still be themselves when they’re together. There’s that comfort in great friendships that transcends distance so beautifully. I'm really glad you took the time to write which scenes you liked. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment. :)

Firstly, wow. Once again you prove to the Jemmauniverse that you are the rightful owner of the Jemma Writing crown and scepter. I just absolutely love the way you write their everyday life. It is just so perfect. The way Emma freaked out over the dream is so Emma! Its so adorable that I couldn't help smiling the entire time I read this story. The way Hotte tells her like it is, and the way Jenny is so patient and forgiving of her. Really, beautiful. I bow to you almighty Jemma Writer. I bow. :)

You’re very sweet :) but there are some great writers in this jemmauniverse, I don’t think I can claim a title like that. However, if there must be bowing, then I insist there must also be dancing. Thank you for being so kind. :)

Owlish, Thank you for writing another perfect Jemma story. I love how Emma and Jenny can have similar dreams but react to it in totally different ways. I imagine Jenny having a smug smile on her face upon recalling the dream while Emma on the other hand, works herself into a tizzy worrying about impossible worse case scenarios. I guess that's why they're so perfect for each other - the ying and yang, peanut butter and jelly, captain and first mate... Okay, I'll stop. Thank goodness for Hotte. I love Hotte. And, you always manage to sneak in a lol moment. In this case, Emma asking, “Are you insane?”. So good! Super fantastic job, once again. :) -AB

Super fantastic, huh? I’ll take your word for it. I put lots of Hotte in here just for you. I remembered you said you liked him. You even sent me a link. A perfect link of Hotte being Hotte, and therefore he deserves more story-time. It’s the least I can do when you’re leaving me sweet, blush-inducing comments like this one. High five, AB.
