Wow. Simply amazing. I'm so happy you wrote this. I was beginning to worry you had stopped. It was such a pleasant surprise to see this and once again; your writing is outstanding. I could feel Jenny's pain in this story. Your words are so moving. I loved this fic!!! I find these sadder fics even more beautiful than the happy ones. It's here where you see the real Jemma. The one that made me fall in love with them in the first place. Thank you for once again sharing your amazing stories with us. It's always such a treat :)
I was beginning to worry I had stopped too. The first pieces of this story were actually written a while ago, scribbled on some forgotten piece of paper. The rest of it developed slowly in my mind, until I had to write it down. I’m so glad you like it. :) That makes the draining, sad part of it worth it, when you’re able to convey it right. Thank you for your words. :)
This story. Jesus, what can I say? I usually don't comment often [bad reader, I'm so sorry] but I can't let this one go. All of your stories are so good at capturing mood and emotion. And I feel in this case, you've dialled it up to eleven. It's beautifully written, with such detail in all the right places. Which makes it all that much more heartbreaking. You place your reader so easily into the background, once the story is finished I feel like I've come out of a vivid dream. One that I'd rather continue! I do hope you never stop writing, whether it's Jemma related or not. I look forward to the next edition! :)
I feel like I should scold you on not commenting more often, but then I think I’d be walking myself into an impossible situation. I can’t find a reply to this…this…amazinglykindandwonderful thing that you wrote. It’s making me all shy and uncomfortable in a good way. Thank you. And here’s to hopefully more vivid dreams in the future. :)
Owlish, First off, I believe I owe you a high five. *Slap*, there you go. :) Secondly, thank you so very much for the extra Hotte-ness in your last story. I do love Hotte, so thank you for that! I really appreciate it, that was so kind of you. Now on to this amazingly wonderful story... You know, I love the heart breaking ones as much as I do the heart fluttery ones. You don't let us forget that Jenny's been through so much tragedy and that she still deals with the loss of her parents every day. As heart wrenching as it is, it's a part of her story, her history, and you tell it so beautifully. I love that Jenny has Emma and Ben to help keep those feelings of insurmountable despair at bay. They don't push or tell her that things will get better, they are simply just there for her and that is all Jenny needs. With their love and support, she can find the strength to fight her demons. Another stellar job! You are so good! I'll never stop telling you that because it's true. Thanks again for another perfect story. -AB
Are you aware of the fact that Hotte-ness sounds like of like Hotness when you read it? That’s weird. I don’t associate Hotte with hotness, and now I have to. Thank you for that.
I have to say, I was expecting some degree of ‘Jenny lost her parents so long ago, put it in the past already,’ but not a single comment on here was even close to that, which really warms my heart. It’s one thing to be able to write the reactions you want a character to endure in a story, and it’s another when the readers convey the same level of understanding and compassion. I find that pretty amazing. Thanks for being so kind with your comments. :)
