This is my new addition Gemma (she came with the name!). She was on the brink of being put to sleep because no one wanted her. She is the quietest most gentle dog you could come across, although she insists on sleeping beside the bed I bought rather than on it!

She is lovely so elegant and graceful and such big soulful brown eyes. I'm glad you choose to make her part of your family. Most people think that greyhounds require a lot of room because they spend most of their lives running but they don't. After they finish racing they basically become couch potatoes.

You are so right there! She is not a greyhound but a sleeping machine. She loves lying around beside me just looking at me or snoozing.

When I take her for a walk she tires before I do and I'm a fat nearly 50 year old!

She is just lovely! I have neighbors who take in the grey hounds from the racing track that is about an hour and a half from my home. They seem like such good dogs.
