So clearly sleeping would be such a better idea right now, but I have developed insights that I cannot keep inside. So I'm going to write. Because writing helps me get through life, as I wrote about in my "Living Through Writing" paper earlier this year

it didnt take 1/2 an hour, it took 15 minutes.

i miss you. in that last paragraph when you were talking about us all going away, i realized that thats going to be you and me and everyone and i realized that i have not seen you at all really this year, not even at school, and i really miss you. i dont wanna miss out on our friendship now when it's really the last time it can flourish, since we'll be away next year.

i read the entire thing and i always do because yuo make me laugh and think and its just good to hear your brain work. Im sorry you are so drained with life lately... theres this quote i think about from the glass house whenever people get uber stressed out and it is "And this too shall pass..." and its advent so give yourself a breather. Take a nap and read a book with a cup of hot beverage and a scarf and make snow angels. I love yuo forever and ever and ever.

i read the whole thing!!!

my writing professor just released a book on the 6 months she spent in antarctica. interesting, huh? it's really cool, but i don't think i could do it. it's -100 degrees. NO THANK YOU.

i asked her if she got to pet a penguin.
she told me no, because apparently it's illegal.

don't get too stressed about college. it's hard not to feel the pressure, but in the long run, there are so many more important things in life. in the long run, where you go won't matter nearly as much as what you do there, who you meet, what you learn, etc.

i realized yesterday that in a way, getting deferred was a blessing. i learned some valuable lessons... how much i love my friends (including you), how people are more important than places (like jeanine said above), and how colleges are kind of like boys: you dont really want to date them anymore if you find out they dont like you back. haha, so in a way ive lost interest in brown for the moment... and im focusing my attention towards all the other great places i could go. anyway, im basically just replicating to you what im about to write in my lj, so im going to end here :-P i love you tons. thanks for calming me down last night!
