I was wonder how you identify between versions of comics. for example, there's a difference between the DCnU vs. Iron Age (from 1987-2010) for Superman comics.
Unfortunately, the way the sorting works, there's a limit to how many variations of comics we can cope with. The best way to distinguish characters is to put the specific comic after their name. So something like:
DCU, Character X (Iron Age)/Character Y (Iron Age), prompt word or Marvel, Character X (specific comic)/Character Y (specific comic), prompt word
I know it isn't ideal, but over the years we've had a lot of difficulties sorting comic prompts, and this is the compromise we've had to come to.
In trying to post older Porn Battle stories to their respective collections, I ran into a problem - I can't post to PB IV because there is a comma in the collection name. The autofill gets confused over the comma and splits it into two 'tags' and then tells me "We couldn't find the collection Porn Battle IV (Fourth Verse"
Porn Battle IV (Fourth Verse, Same as the First) is just the display name. The actual collection name has to be one long word with no spaces, so it's PornBattleIV - if you try to post to that, it should work! Let me know if that doesn't fix it though, and I'll see if I can suss it out!
Oh, and probably best to avoid autofill for this - it tends to work better pasting the name in full.
How do I correctly prompt something where it doesn't matter what version of canon it comes from? For instances, Les Misérables prompts where it doesn't matter to me whether it's book, musical, or movie canon.
Les Misérables - All Media Types is the overarching tag for that example on AO3, but I wasn't sure if there was a standard already in use for porn battles.
I'm afraid the only sort-of work safe ones are quite small. The various options are all here: http://battle.oxoniensis.org/links.html hope one of them is suitable!

Hope that helps.

Would it be possible for this to be fixed? :)
