Got two papers due tomorrow. So naturally I get nostalgic for my old Livejournal style and have to go change it back, thus obliterating a carefully customized theme I spent a lot of time fine-tuning last August... Whatever. I give zero fucks.

8am: Wake up. Consume the internet until 9am
9am: Intellectual activity time (ideally writing)
11am: Journal time (also delicious breakfast)
12pm: Reading time
1pm: Intellectual activity time (ideally writing)
3pm: Hang out with friends and eat delicious food
11pm: Sexy time, then bedtime

Sounds good, I think. Too bad I have school and work.

I'm playing through Red Dead Redemption in order to write my final paper for my videogame class. It's fun.

Reading Wikipedia articles about various types of puns, pun-based jokes, obscure punctuation, wordplay, etc., all with hilariously weird terminology. Also, sleeping.

So I'm thinking that I want to buy a really awesome big-ass fancy leather journal, and then title it "Meli's Anthology of Literature" and write down great quotations over time from all the stuff I'm reading. And poems, too, if they're short. And then it can sit on one of my bookshelves at the end of my row of journals, in my tree-house ( Read more... )

As I grow older, my feelings and my relationships with boys get more and more complex. I miss the good old days of simple, plain, monogamous, clearly-defined boyfriend-girlfriend relationships. Writing down all my big assignments over the course of this term on my wall calendar to see when they coincide didn't actually help me to feel less stressed out. It actually made me feel more stressed out.

Finished season 5 of Buffy two nights ago. It made me wish I had been a) old enough to be at all interested in TV shows that weren't cartoons and b) actually the owner of a TV when Buffy was airing.
