Book recommendation
So, for anyone who reads Steven Erikson (A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen) I'd recommend getting the two books by Ian Cameron Esslemont. Esslemont is the co-creator of the Malazan universe with Steven Erikson, and has finally started putting out books himself set in the universe.
The first one is called:

A week to go
So, in a week I head off for my main vacation this year, two and a half weeks of touring Europe. I think most things are in order sofar. We have hotels booked, we have our train tickets for most journeys.
Only choice is what places to see and do in the time we have available..

So, I'm back in Atlanta again for two days before I head northwards. Arrived yesterday and was picked up by mrakg whom I'm crashing at.
Went out to dinner at Fuddrockers and met a bunch of WICB people I haven't really met in years. I believe people there was V, Shan, Greg, Keith + wife, Sharon, James, Katrina + Davide, M'rak, Bill + Ash.

Vacation planning
The plans for my fall vacation (well, summer vacation but I'm taking it in september) is falling in place. The main plan for where we (me and my 2 best friends here in Oslo) are going is set.
For now the trip will hit:

Freiburg
Zurich
Florence
Pompeii
Rome
Pisa
Avignon
Paris
Amsterdam
