Today
I have today off. I woke up around 9am and couldn't go back to sleep, so I made a pot of coffee and watched some TV. Around noon I left and went to the mall, where I planned on buying myself a new pair of glasses at Lenscrafters (my old pair was on its last leg, and I needed to have my eyes checked again). Superbowl Sunday
Between Friday and Saturday, I worked a total of 26 1/2 hours (more than a day in 48 hours!), finishing out the week at just under 62 hours total. It was a crazy, exhausting weekend, and I'm all too happy about the fact that we are closed for Superbowl Sunday. It actually means that I get an extra day off this week, which will be quite nice ( Read more... ) -

So here's how my trip to Memphis for the 2008 GM Conference went. It's more than a little long, so I used a few LJ cuts.

Memphis is fun so far. Last night involved much drinking and watching drunk GMs and restaurant owners sing karaoke and puke in the street. It also involved stumbling down Beale St. at 3am with a scotch and soda in my hand (which I apparently never drank, because it is still sitting on the nightstand). GM Conference
I leave in a few hours for the General Manager's Conference in Memphis. I'm looking forward to it. I'll hopefully have some pictures and interesting stories when I return. -
