Oh no! This really leaves us hanging. Which is just a little bit sadistic of you :) I thought this chapter was very well written in it's own right,however I ended up wondering whether Charlie's death is just a device to prolong the mystery of who is on the slab, as in the previous chapter we all assumed that Logan was getting a telephone call about that death. I liked the stuff you wrote about Aaron and Logan, their's is always a fascinating relationship to explore, but ultimately felt a bit frustrated that we didn't get more answers in this chapter, just impatient I guess :)

Thanks for the comment. I didn't write Charlie's death in as a stalling tactic, I'm not quite that evil :) It will all make sense soon I promise, besides I can't give you the answers all at once now, can I? ;)

I was only 2 days behind on my deadline of getting a new chapter out every 2 weeks with this one, so I'm going to try to meet my deadline this time. Hopefully you won't have long to wait...

This is very intriguing, I am fascinated how you are going to bring it all together. Don't worry I wont push for answers, where's the fun in that!

oh my god you're evil. First of all, I was just about to go to bed when I saw this. Then I read all the way to the end and you still don't tell us who is on the balcony. I'm pretty sure that it isn't Veronica that's dead, but I'm not entirely sure that it isn't her on the balcony. Especially with the "We need to talk about last night, Logan."

Grrr... but I'm still loving it, especially the Aaron/Logan interaction. Not that I love poor abuse Logan or evil Aaron, but I like the showing of what his life was like back then. Most of the interaction you see between them on the show is intimidating yes, with the exception of the belt scene, you don't really see what else there was. How much else there was to his abuse.

Cool! I made someone stay up late and read fic! I thought that I only suffered from that not promoted it... :)

No.. argh.. I hate it and love it all in the exact same moment... argh.. Charlie's dead and I'm in tears from Logan's reaction but what I really really really want to know is if Logan just cheated on Veronica.. OMG.. other than that I'm loving it so far..

that was a really gut-wrenching sort of chapter, in a good way, and it's true, regret can be crippling.

and now i will try to wait patiently until the next chapter is done :)

Thanks for the feedback. It was actually good to write a new character for me, I think that's why my writer's block was bad. I had to wait for the Aaron voice to takeover my thoughts. Now I have to wait for him to go again

I can't wait to see where you go from here. I liked how you explored Aaron and Logan's relationship as well as Lynn's perspective, but I'm not sure about how Charlie fits in. Also, hopefully the girl is Veronica; I can't see Logan as cheating. It doesn't seem in character, regardless of how he's been frustrating me by flirting in this story. Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the comment. It's great to get feedback on this story. Yes, Logan is a frustrating minx, but funnily I've been watching the real season 3 episodes as I go and I still get even more frustrated with the real Veronica's actions, than I do with Logan here... Maybe I'm biased :)
