Tsubasa Tokyo Reveletions's Comments

Jun 23, 2007 12:02

No one's home today and I'm bored, so I gave a try at translating the staff comments on the Tsubasa Tokyo Revelation official site. I hope I didn't commit major mistake, if you spot any (either in Japanese comprehension or English adaptation), leave me a word about it. My comments about the comments are in [brackets] .

As the original author, it's ( Read more... )

>It seems to me she's implying Tokyo will be the final of the anime series.

It seems to me as well.

>I don't expect Tsubasa chapters past April 2008

*prays* xDDDDDDDDD This goes against my counts BUT I DON'T CARE XDDDDDDD Just end, Tsubasa! XD

As for Ishigawa's comment, I got that "working with the original author" has been an improvement for Production IG (I think they aren't used to that XD)

LOL! But like I said just after that, maybe I'm raving. ^^; But I just can't see how they'll manage to keep the story on for 8 other books, when they are no longer looking for feather and Sakura is technically dead. And I want Gouhou Drug back *sniff* And I want X too *sniff* And Clover *sniff* *sniff* And I want to see Hokuto again! *sniff* They could make a story for her in the Chobits/Angelic Layer dimension or something! *sniff* *sniff* *sniff*

I thought that at first too, but that would make no sense, they did the xxxHolic series with Ohkawa as the series supervisor. But maybe Clamp are even more involved in this project, somehow.

We still have to see a lot of things... it's hard to thing they can wrap everything in 3 volumes. We have what's left of Fye's story, the whole thing with Seishirou/Subaru, and the whole end with Fei Wang. JUST to name a few.

Although, SOMETIMES I feel like it's about to end. XXXHOLiC is definitely walking in circles XDDDDD Sometimes I can't see how it'll be able to go for another year or so, maybe with all those breaks it's possible...

Also, I think Kodansha would have said that vol. 23 would be the last one... I don't know.

Anyway, they will be able to end the series with the three OVAs in Tokyo, there shouldn't be too much left. And with all the other series supervised by Ohkawa, the anime ended with only a tankoubon left to serialised. They could have waited for tank 25, 26 and 27 since they are already 8 months late in the original anime schedule (the third season was planed for Spring 2007 and the OVAs will be release almost to winter 2007-08, why not wait 6 other months for late spring 2008 ( ... )

Wow. Thank you so much! Damn, the 'upside down' thing is disturbing me...

At least the team sounds excited. XD

I don't mind the 'upside down' thing too much, I think Ohkawa meant she would change the story a little, like she did for the CCS and MKR anime.

But the team is in the right mood indeed, this is promising. ^_^
