The committe pick 5 of my photos for the local artists exhibit (they're are a lot of artists here apparently) and I went by today and they are up. I'll let you know if any sells.

Sister  - She had the surgery. BUT, it had not reached her lymphnodes so she will not have to have chemo. She goes to the oncologist tomorrow to find out what kind of treatment she will have to undergro. She should be able to have the reconstructive surgery after about 3 month of healing. I have done some of my photography prints around here and was told to go to the Batesville Arts Council here on Main St. and talk to them. Well we know today that she has to have both removed. She has decided to go with the removal instead of the chemo. She has also decided to do the reconstruction surgery. She meets with the plastic surgeon on that this week and then she will know more about WHEN the surgery for removal is. BUT it will be this month. I'm on stand by for whenever she ( Read more... )

Found out today that one of my younger sisters has breast cancer. She is scared and so am I. She and I have not always been as close as sisters should be. We are very different people. We haven't spoken to each other but once in almost three years.

I went to see The Dark Knight today. I've heard all the hype and was interested in seeing it (and the fact that it was Heath Ledger's last movie). I have seen them all and was excited about this one. He is really bothering me lately. He doesn't seem motivated to do anything. He's always moping around, blaming everyone else for his troubles and misfortunes. Whinning about this and that but never making the effort to change things or himself.

Well, let's see....Hand Surgery: Went to the doctor when I got back to Arkansas and he felt that he went deep enough the first time so he didn't want to chance anymore right now. YAY! YAY! He wants to see me back in 6 months and we'll go from there. I was so relieved.
