Thought I'd introduce you to Drake who has been my housemate since April. A young male Centralian Carpet Python (Morelia bredli) and probably the friendliest reptile I have ever met.
As a kid I kept juv. Red-eared Sliders back in Singapore - didn't live too long...
Back in Perth in the 1980s/90s I used to have Bobtails (Tiliqua rugosa rugosa)in my backyard, the western counterpart to the Eastern states Shingleback (T. rugosa asper). Much nicer looking as well with crisp banding and flame orange cheeks. Victorian rugosas look like walking turds...
