So, Rather then replate two parts of my car I decided to re-Parkerize them. I done it before but not with the best and NASTIEST stuff. Liquid Phosphate and it is loaded with all sorts of heavy metals. To the point were its almost coming out of solution. I gave Furwolf a 24oz container of water and degreaser and a equal container of the solution and

What exactly is "re-Parkerize" anyway?

Its the "black" coating that covers a lot of auto and gun parts. Its a rust preventative. Almost like Bluing.
