I can buy a rebuilt one but they are "take Your Chance" for the simple fact that the company well only replace the parts that need to be replaced. The Next Best Thing To Liquid DEATH.......
So, Rather then replate two parts of my car I decided to re-Parkerize them. I done it before but not with the best and NASTIEST stuff. Liquid Phosphate and it is loaded with all sorts of heavy metals. To the point were its almost coming out of solution. I am restoring a 1972 240Z. I think everyone knows that now. But what I have found during my pursuit of parts and knowledge is that the majority of the time, the experts dont know what was stock on the car! Tonight after work, I am driving to south of Modesto to meet a guy that well be trading electrical work for work on my 240Z. I seen what he can do and I think he is perfect for this job and he is VERY receptive of trading labor for time and material.
