Porridge

If you liked the soup Rog, maybe you'll also appreciate porridge - especially recommended for the colder days. I seem to rediscover porridge every couple of years or so. I also rediscover porridge every so often. I prefer to cook it fairly plain - just milk, water and salt then add things afterwards. Muscavado sugar and bananas is good.

Being a bit of a heathen, I actually like maple syrup on it. Less calories than sugar, and much more tasty.

I'm tending to use soya milk or
Tiger White (made from sedge tubers) instead of cows milk.

Pumpkin seeds have replaced the flaked almonds.

I also tend to add sultanas and use a bit less honey.
