I'm the same way. I used to write in my journal because my emotions were boiling and I needed to get them out. It's very difficult when you're emotional and have no outlet for them.. so having a journal does just that. I would DIE without this journal.. (ok maybe not, but it's been a HUGE help for me!).. so I can totally relate to what you're saying.

exactly i look back at some entries and i think to myself, "wait that's now what happened" but it's too late, i wouldn't go back in my hand written journal and erase anything, why livejournal

and yes, LJ totally helps me vent when there's no one else to vent to
