Last night I played for the first time at the Falmouth jazz night - I wasn't brave enough to solo, but I did the melody for My Funny Valentine (with variations).

Today I have been practicing solos for playing at a jazz gig in Truro.

Today hasn't started well. I went out to the car, (without locking the front door), and dumped my stuff so that I could take the recycling boxes back in. It's coming up to our 2nd anniversary. Due to the fact that we were married abroad, my name didn't change when I signed the certificate.
