I think I have become more aware as a human being just by talking with him and hearing his point of view. And he makes me feel good about who I am when we are together. So I guess, to answer your question, I'm glad I met him and I am glad to have feelings for him as torturous as they may be.

Loving does suck. Plain and simple. And some of these comments just plain and simple suck. I'm not being rude at all.
