I first met Nate when I was 11 years old, trying out the internet for the first time.  It was on CompuServe, in a chat room called the Holodeck.  I thought it was a cool name because I had seen Star Trek a few times on TV and maybe one or two of the old movies when I was younger.  Since everyone else in there had Star Trek names, I went with Deanna
