I just had a call from my GI. He said that he was talking with his companion about my case -- they both have come to the conclusion that I have the most severe case of celiac sprue they have ever witnessed and that it will take me at least 10 years to recover. Well, at least they now know something. Happy trails to myself.

I have come to the conclusion that I am not happy with my delcared PoliSci major. I am changing it to Journalism. I am going to start working at the school's newspaper this upcoming semester; my professor urged me to do so. Apparently we need "intelligent, well written material." My GI wants to see some actual weight gain .. roughly 20-30 pounds.
