Holy smokes! I was just thinking about you and your icon skillz this morning. In your QAF animated icons, did you by chance make one of the hunkalicious guy from 102 that is part of the Justin sandwich in Babylon? It's the guy with the buzz cut, no shirt, some kind of arm band around his bicep. Oh and he also wags his finger at Brian when summoned to join the dance/mating ritual that is Brian Kinney. Ring any bells??

Uhmmm...sadly I don't think so. If I recall correctly, the only animated icon I made from that scene was Justin taking out his shirt...you could check out the website to be sure, but I'm pretty positive that I didn't make it, sorry!
*waves* You are a reading freak! :D I love to read but it's hard to find the time. I read Twilight not long ago and just saw the flick last weekend.
I've got 4 books on my coffee table, 2 of which I've started. "Broken Music", Sting's autobiography and "Heaven And Hell" by Don Felder, about his life, and during his run with the The Eagles.

OOOOh, Sting! I love him (I grew up with The Police, yo)! I don't think I've ever read an autobiography...maybe I should try it out...*ponders*
This is perfect! I'm just finishing up the latest series I'm reading - will definitely have to look some of these up next :D
I completely and utterly agree with you about the Dresden Files - LOVE Butcher's humor in those. Am waiting anxiously for my little brother to finish Turn Coat so I can steal and read it. ::is impatient::
I also burned through the Kushiel series by Jacqueline Carey recently, followed by the Wraeththu series by Storm Constantine. Less urban, more fantasy, but utterly enjoyable nonetheless.
Between those and the handful of manga I've been trying to keep up with, I've been much worse than you with the updating LJ ;)

Yay! Let me know what you think!

Ah! You will love it! It's truly a turning point for the series...lots of things change for Harry and life will probably get even more complicated (and dangerous) for our friendly wizard... :-)

OMG I LOVE the Kushiel series!! I actually can't wait for Carey's next book in that universe!! I'll definitely miss Phedre and Joscelin, but hopefully I'll find new characters to fall in love with.

I absolutely fell in love with the original characters (especially Phedre and Joscelin), so the thought of them not being in the new series directly (I'm assuming we'll get snippets from "history" books/stories) is heart wretching, but then again, Carey is such an amazing writer that I can't NOT pick up the new one. I know I'll probably still enjoy it, but I'll miss them so much

The Wraeththu books are amazing, but harder to get into, I think.
Oh! I just checked it out and it looks awesome!! I'll definitely give it a try!! :-)
hey there dear ^.^ I haven't been reading much lately *G* I got some books about Florence and the Medici though, I plan on reading that soon :) Oh and I got a copy of "Zen of the Zombie" - total nonesence that tells you how to improve your life by living like a Zombie LOL :D
Say. I need someone to translate a few random sentences for me for a book project for art school. Would you be willing to help me ^^ ?
Yup, I posted some (very VERY strange and random) sentences here at my LJ. dirtyprettyhome who's doing the french translations already seems to have porblems because those are literal translations of german sayings/phrases and some really don't make sence (but that's okay, they don't have to XD) *G*
