Well it took me awhile to get it posted here, however....

Nadezdha Lilith Mahala was born on August 21, 2007 at 4:07pm.
She weighed 6lbs 5oz, and was 19 1/4 inches long.
She was delivered by emergency c-section. Mom and baby are home resting and spending time with family.

Today Jayson and I are getting married. It's strange to think that this is our wedding day. I'm extremely nervous and the last minute jitters are turning my stomach in knots. Well, I am officially actually 15 weeks 3days or something, all I know is that I'm coming to the end of my 4th month! I'm totally amazed by this, it has passed too quickly and at the same time all too slow. Today I found out that I will not get paid, at all, while on Short Term Disability because I hadn't been with the company for 6 months. This was in the fine print on the paperwork, and their grid for payment schedule was misleading saying I would. This puts me in a huge bind because I've been off work since February 8th. I had my surgery Saturday February 17th, at 7:30am here at St. John's. I've been home for a little over a day after the surgery. So far the pathology seems positive dispite the actual "tumor" being inside the ovary and the ovary itself not on the ovary like a typical cyst. These last few days have been very hard. Not only was I put on bed rest since Friday because of minor spotting... but I am sick too. Add to that the nonsense my parents decided to try Sunday night, and the dramatic display of complete lack of mental or emotional control portrayed. Had another U/S (ultrasound) yesterday. So far the baby is okay and the surgery should be the end of next month or the beginning of March, but like all the other doctors that I've talked to before, the "tumor" as they have classified it seems to be causing some worry and distention at the doctors. *sigh* Worried, scared, and so many other things ( Read more... )

Everything was finalized and ultrasounds done, etc. The baby is due approximately 8/25/2007 if he/she makes it that long. I have to have surgery during my 2nd trimester to remove a tumor that has grown on my right ovary and up and over my uterus.
