i've gotten so much better at dealing with disappointment. it's like it doesnt even exist anymore. i had no expectations for yesterday, and what actually happened has changed everything in my head.

it's september 27th. that's all i can think right now.

i guess the good news is that i dont feel like dying yet, but all i can think about is the drive down to padre island and laying in the tent and singing mary j blige songs, and i think the dying part is going to sneak up pretty soon.

jack and i are going to go camping on the beach. i feel so differently about everything.

i don't deserve to be treated this way, finals or not.

i got a car on friday and im going to work in the cafe this summer and i like my hair when it's curly and i have a cute boyfriend and my parents and i get along and i dont feel desperate or on edge or lonely and hastings now has self swipe credit card machines. LIFE IS SO GOOD RIGHT NOW.

i tend to be the kind of person with no work ethic. also, i probably won't see keeper for one month or three, but I'm sure that's a good thing. I just need some time to think he's a regular person. and I want to start a band with jack and paint enough for an art show and write my first novella and submit a poem to the southern review.
