I feel like a deadbeat dad right now.

I got tickets to Futures at Fenway for my birthday and I just found out I can't go because I have a 12 hour work day to fill in for everyone that's on vacation and I can't miss it.

It's so hard being a girl, and it has never been more apparent to me than when I'm making deliveries at Whole Foods. The loading docks at Whole Foods are, sadly, no place for young women. One night, toward the end of Spring Break in March, I started to get a few dozen emails from Mailer-Daemon telling me that my message to wherever had failed.
