question about atkinsperishFebruary 24 2006, 10:13:05 UTC
i was thinking about super low carb diets... i know that the brain requires glucose as fuel. so on a very carb restricted diet a la atkins, where does your brain get energy? i know that excess blood sugars are converted to fat and stored on the body. does the body simply reverse this process if no carbs are consumed?
i think i'm discovering that my body likes to get most of its calories from protein and fatty acids. avacados, sour cream, and genuine butter get me hot.
