At least the abstract is finished

After several revisions, I finally have an abstract written which is acceptable to the professor. Now, I just have to write the paper!

This is the three paragraph abstract model, which is common in lit. I've done the 250 word one, too--they're just different genres. I think this one is harder to do, which is why she wanted us to work on it, learn it as a genre. I'm very happy to be done with it--and I suppose one advantage of this kind is that, once you've written this part, the structure of the paper is pretty well sketched out already.
