The most exciting news of today was a major breakthrough in dissertation research. I read an article that actually talks about the aesthetic novel and makes claims about it and attempts to define it! Two of my terrarium plants are blooming: a Rex Begonia and an african violet. This is my first time getting indoor plants to bloom, ever. *excitement* This is actually going to be my first Rex Begonia bloom ever. I finally have a way to keep them happy and out of lil' Amelia's predatory jaws!
