oh oh oh ostrich eggs! squee!
I saw a great picture of someone making ostrich egg into cheesecake - they apparently needed 1 egg for the size cake they were making.

Things I like: Cholesterol. And lots of it. YUM!

what a great idea! i knew i would use one of the eggs for a plain old super scramble... but ostrich egg cheesecake is an awesome idea!

This post in the food_porn community got me all atwitter about ostrich eggs.
Interesting food purchase of the week: spring roll wrappers that are the really thin almost transparent rice paper. I just have to get some mint + basil and delicious here we come...

dude, how do you feel about getting an herb window box. i just made one actually. can't tell you how wonderful it is to have some rosemary, thyme, basil, mint, etc at my beck and call!
