If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Walking down to the river in Oxford and you were explaining how although young boys were considered the ideal form of beauty by the Greeks, they wouldn't 'penetrate' them, and me feeling a little awkward because there were kids around and I was worried they'd hear! That was a marvelous day by the way.

I'll go with us discussing education in the JCR in Freshers' Week. Who knew that my words would one day inspire you to take up teaching as your life's work?

Ohh, you push it ;) If teaching is my life's work, I should be disappointed with myself. Truth, beauty, art and love..

I remember that well too - for me all that expectation fulfilled of what Oxford student society should be about.

Sitting in the Agora in my second year, before I'd even heard of G&S, or gone off to be changed by Canada, and chatting to you and Kim and everyone.

I remember us with Chris in the JCR one evening, enjoying the cushions!

I also liked the way that after we said goodbye in Oxford this summer and walked in opposite directions, we both then looked back...
