It seemed to be one thing after another recently; too many strange events and not enough time to think them over. V2 had taken him to the seashore, which he'd never seen; he'd thought he may have found one possibly way out of this living corpse, if only he could remember

"Certainly, Master ..."

Already looking unsteady at this bit of news, Blues shivered violently and his eyes slid closed for a moment as he turned away.
".. How?"

Blues' hands tightened convulsively into fists, and he shook again.
"... He will want to take him apart, rebuild him into something else. That's what Master Blaze does -- tears away everything he doesn't want in a navi. Like his daemons ..."

"But, yes. It was the same."
"I don't know why -- because we're the same, maybe. I wasn't the first ..."
Blues crushed Enzan closer instinctively.
"... I failed him. He would want another --"

Blues glanced about the room, decided on heading towards the bed. One of the few advantages of the copyloid, it had no strain at all carrying Enzan --
"I would have been gone if you didn't bring me here, Master."
"How do you know he's done more than you?"

"... If you didn't try, what would happen then --?"

Isamu's earlier words came back to him, suddenly. 'You really think running around crying is gonna help any? And don't say you're not crying, cause you so will when you're by yourself.'
With the words came the sudden desire to punch Isamu again for saying them, and he managed to hold onto that until he could sit up and breathe again.
"I can't do this." His words were a whisper; he tried again. "We have to save V2, and I'm wasting precious time."

Blues watched Enzan, eyes still bright but at least a little less crazed.

And he was. His colors seem to shine with a light of their own.

Any further possible commentary was buried under a wave of flustered discomfort. Apparently Blues would argue the 'beautiful' comment, if he weren't floored by it.

Right now he had to go talk to his father. It seemed a little silly to walk through the house in cross fusion, but he couldn't help that.
He left the room and went to find him. "Father?"
