I...meet people I would never expect to when I am at work.

Today I turn seventeen. I went down to the bakery and a nice man behind the counter gave me a cupcake for free. I tried to give him money, but he wouldn't accept it, saying that since it's my birthday I shouldn't have to pay. I was very glad to have met someone so considerate.

I seem to have developed a cold…my throat is aching and I can’t really breathe through my nose…but at least it isn’t something more serious, right?

Although it is rather unpleasant…

I feel as if I haven’t spoken to many people lately…are you all alright? I should hope so, as it is the holiday season…

The water…looks unhealthy. I’m afraid to drink it, in case I were to get sick. I cannot afford to miss a day from school, or work, even. In fact, I was hoping to pick another shift at the flower shop, if that’s alright with you, Ino-chan. I…need the money.

I went to see Neji-nii-san on his birthday. I only wanted to wish him a happy birthday and give him the presents I bought. But...he greeted me in a...less-than-friendly fashion.

I moved into my new apartment in Celo today. It wasn’t that bad…although the whole apartment is probably smaller than my room in Ceno. I don’t think that’s a bad thing, though. It’s cozy, warm…more intimate.
