Today I mourn the loss of someone who was truly a wonderful person. I knew her for four years, working at Garden Ridge. She was my immediate manager. She passed away early yesterday morning. My luck just keeps getting better today. It doesn't matter whether Chili's hires me or not. I have another job offer that's guarenteed. Granted, it's McDonalds, but they're offering me a job and I'm gonna call them up tomorrow. Seems that things are really coming together. It just took some patience and continued hope!

I'm not gonna get my hopes up too much... but... I think I've got a job. It would be working for Chili's Grill and Bar, a division of Brinker International, who own such chains as On the Boarder, where I applied last week and got turned down, and The Macaroni Grill.
