I am a horrible, horrible person. I have deprived my non-Facebook people of baby pictures.

Also I can't figure out how to get the URL of the public albums on Facebook so I can share. So, this is me! If you want to see baby pics you need to be my friend! Or signed in, anyway, I suppose.

Thursday is my LSD day - last week was almost 8 miles to the American River Bike Trail and to the 2.5 mile marker, yesterday was 9.3 on the same route. If I keep this up, I'll be running the whole thing in a few months ( Read more... )

Because there are a limited number of things to do with a 6-month old child, I have started running with him in the mornings on days that I have him or go to work later. For playtime, we place the child on the floor, on top of a light blanket. I've started putting his toys just out of reach to teach him to crawl.

So he grabs the blanket and pulls the toy towards him.

The wife went back to work, which means I take care of the child three days a week, and get restful times whenever he naps. My babysitting technique is largely based on going for walks. My night was spent alternately cleaning messy diapers and trying to sleep. I think I spent more time on the former than the latter. This morning (as of ~1 hour ago), things were looking up, however, as I had a baby sleeping on my chest with one arm reaching for the mattress on one side of me, and the opposite foot reaching on the other side.
