You've done very well :) You should be proud of yourself - I always found that I got oddly high grades in exams that I thought had gone very badly, as well... at this point, you're in a better situation than I was, going into fourth year. So I think you can do it!

I have to ask... what exactly do you do, in Animal Abundance...?

(PS: Told you so)

Estimating Animal Abundance is just methods of estimating how many animals (or plants) are in a given population or area, using data from a survey. It's quite interesting since there are lots of factors to consider (e.g. if you're looking at rabbits outside Melville, the number you see is very negatively biased since lots of them are in burrows at any given time) and lots of different methods. It was a 2 week course, but it was mostly self taught - the lectures give you the basics and you have to work on it yourself, which is a nice way of doing it ( ... )
