Been a long time
Wow, it has been three years since I was on here. I am surprised it has been so long. I've been busy. I actually got on here to find an old recipe and I will look for it soon, those cookies will not make themselves. I see that I was just starting Kettlebell Sport when I last wrote. It worked.
I was able to do it last Saturday. I made the number of snatches I was trying for in the 10 minutes. The competition is only two weeks away and I seem to be ready. I was going to take a little time off and reflect on what I learned Wednesday about doing 10 minutes of snatch. If only my personal trainer and my competiton class would co-ordinate with each other, I would be able to do that. Oh well! Buckwheat crepes
I promised, so here it is.
It really helps if you start out by going to the farmer's market and buying some fresh (ground right in front of you) buckwheat flour, but I realize that not everyone has that option. Well, here it is, almost my birthday weekend again. This year John is taking me to Bermuda for the weekend. Spiffy trip, huh. Yesterday was soooo busy! How busy was it? It was so busy that neither John nor I were able to eat lunch. I was going to go to bed at 8pm but John woke me up after I had been asleep for half an hour. Friends Come and Gone
D and R and the little A and C have come and gone. They arrived on Sunday afternoon and we had a great time taking them around our neighborhood. Not Dead Just Busy
This weekend we decided to ride our bikes in the Go Green, Go Dutch, Go Bike day. The day dawned bright and sunny so we rode our bikes to the local farmer's market. I was pleasantly surprised this year by gluten free quiches and brownies as well as chocolate chip cookies.
