I just made a pasta salad for dinner. Marinated artichoke hearts, olives, tomatoes, asiago cheese, and chopped genoa salami. The dressing is going to be balsamic vinegar and olive oil mixed with parmesan cheese.

N and I are celebrating our first wedding anniversary this Memorial Day. We just booked two nights at a hotel in Portland, Maine. Neither of us has been there and it's always fun to see something new with your best friend/husband. Have any of you ever been there? If so, any recommendation of things to do and see?

N and I went for a hike today and ended up coming upon two places we have never been. The first was a tiny pond and there wasn't much to see. But, I did envy the people who had houses around it. N and I went to my parents Cape Cod house today and I took some photographs while we were there. They have a gorgeous yard filled with flowers, herbs and vegetables including asparagus. So awesome.
