It is a gorgeous gorgeous day!! Sunny, no wind, both of which are exception for the Netherlands. We usually get grey, overcast and windy from september till may. To take advantage of the weather I did what any girl on her free day would do and went shopping.

I dreamt I was doing research on heroin addicts and had to interview a few addicts with a girl. I have no idea who the girl was and I have no clue why I had to do research on heroin. The floors at the university have been waxed. Why they felt they had to wax stone floors is beyond me but it's done. As a result there's the smell of hot wax lingering everywhere which brings back some memories. A museum card let's you enter free into any museum in the Netherlands that is not entirely in private hands. The cost of it is 35 euros for a year if you are over 25 years. However, considering the Rijksmuseum costs 10 euros a pop and the Van Gogh around 8 euros I think it's well worth it as you get the price out after just 4 visits. Even if you ( Read more... )
