Morgan and Hobbes had a good time out and it was fun playing with the rats today. I have some cute pics of Bert and Bastian. Today I gave them playtime first even though I knew that would rile up Morgan. He always needs to play first because if he smells Bert and Bastian he will get aggressive thinking everything is them. I signed up for the online course. I know many people were skeptical of it, and I was too. But it's accreditation is right there on the AVMA website (not a website I obtained from a link from it, an official website only affiliated in that is states it's an accredited distance program) And I know the one that I actually attend hands on everyday ( Read more... )

Yay! Went to the vet and Bastian's lumps are just sebaceous cysts! The vet popped them for me, and I will have to pop them from time to time. Basically he just has rat acne *eyeroll* The vet told me they are nothing to worry about but if I get tired of dealing with them he could remove them ( Read more... )

So I visited the campus of the Vet Tech Institute and liked it very much. But it had some major draw backs. The first is the cost, $6000 per semester and $750 in lab fees per semester as well as books etc. I really really really don't want to take out that many loans and fed aid only covers $2000 of that ( Read more... )
