Unsuccessful gesture of kindness on friday. Stomach Virus and strip club on Saturday. Early morning farewell for Natsuki on Suday. All in all a full weekend complete with titties, my Andrew, and fond memories of Heartland beer, which no japanese person seems to have heard of, despite the fact that we can only find it in Japan. Why do 98% of ( Read more... )

hahahahaha I asked a Chinese coworker about that not too long ago. It seems like half our Chinese customers smell like that, especially in the winter. He said it's because a lot of Chinese ppl store their seasonal clothes in boxes with mothballs and so, when they take them out at the start of a new season, they still reek.

I guess they must not be very concerned with self image, because if I have something that reeks like hell I usually refrain from wearing it until it's cleaned and not stinky anymore.

One of my old boyfriends told me he once kissed a girl whose mouth tasted like mothballs.

I think she was white though.

Think of every box of mothballs you see as more of a box full of first-born Chinese daughter. It's mututally beneficial, they hate having daughters and we hate moths. Mufasa would totally agree!

I'm Chinese but I smell like victoria secret most of the time. I'm not sure why...My late grandparents use to smell like moth balls and tiger balm. I think I actually remember seeing moth balls in their drawers. It keeps the moths from eating the clothes. An old tradition? My grandma who lives with me smells nice tho.

There are a lot of chinese people that come into my store, and it's always so weird because they just smell so strong that you can catch it from across the store! The weirdest part is that a lot of them are really young!

Hmmm! I've always wondered the same thing, especially since the ingredients in moth balls, either naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, are not healthy for us to breathe. Here's a link that states the obvious!
