I've been taught how to knit twice now. The second time I took a three week class and was really in to knitting by the end - but then life happened and I got out of the habit for most of this year. I was afraid that I would have to learn all over again ( Read more... )

Knitting is a good way of reducing stress, focusing on something else, and productive. Having a bit of a "rough go of it" myself here lately, and the repetitive motions of it has helped. Keep at it!

I'm sorry you've been having a tough time. I hope the knitting helps. Some time I can bring my crocheting over and we can be old grannies together. :)

Gladly. if you can knit, you can crochet. Crocheting is far easier. :)

I'd love to be there! I joined the local knitting Yahoo group and hope to use this to further my social life as well as my sanity. Let me know if you'll be attending any knitting stuff that's open...I'd love to see you!

Yes most unfortunately I live in Tulsa so it sucks to be me. At the current moment my server is off because of power issues. Or rather lack of power issues. In this entire house there is only one three prong outlet. Can you believe that? There's also a fuse box. Along side the fuse box is a breaker box. The breaker box has 2 breakers. Quality.

So yeah, if it's not Cox (Our ISP. They Cox block me so I can't use port 80) it's power. :( I will post again when the server is up and running.
