Man, this is a boring Saturday. I mean, Saturdays are always boring, but this one seems more so than usual. Maybe it's because for the last three I've been watching Monk episodes all afternoon, and this week I didn't. Serves me right for watching them on Thursday ( Read more... )

I can't imagine a boring Saturday! LOL Mine are always busy.

You hair kinda reminds me of a cut I had one time (excpet mine was a little longer)...we called it the "friends cut" because one of the girls on the show Friends had her hair like that. (And, no we didn't watch Friends, but my aunt did my hair.) Anyways, my hair was pretty layered then. :-)

Sometimes our Saturdays are busy, but generally they're not. =P

That's funny. The cut/style is kinda stylish or "hip," so I guess that's why it could be called a "Friends cut." ;)

Funny, because you can't imagine me with a haircut like that? ;) Well, next time you're here you can see it, because Mom hung up a family picture where my hair is done like that. :D

The only banana flavored food I've ever liked are bananas! Other stuff is gross.

Hmm. Maybe that's my problem, I post too late at night. Lately I have gotten only about 4 or 5 comments to each entry, if that. Alas. I don't write for people to comment, but it sure does feel nice when they do! =o)

Your hair looks really cute like that! Mine tends to get straigher on the 2nd day curls than 1st day. Often it's just loosely wavy. I like it too because it tucks behind my ears better. ;o) I like yours though.

Oh! This is off-topic, but I heard a few songs by The Isaacs the other day. Funny thing is, apart from the banjo and a few other instruments, what I heard was basically CCM. So you may say you hate it, but if you like The Isaacs you might actually like more of it then you think! =o) They were good, I liked them. You were right. =o)

Yeah. I'll eat plain bananas, but I don't want anything mixed with them and I can't stand them cooked. =P

Thank you! :) I rarely do 2nd-day, but it does get straighter.

I'm glad you liked them! Although I don't see at all where they sound CCMish, lol. Most of the reason I can't stand most CCM is that I don't like the metallic sound, so since the Isaacs don't use drums and electric guitars, they won't ever sound like CCM to me. ;) Plus they sing Southern Gospel style.

See, what I heard wasn't Southern Gospel-y except for where you could hear the banjo. It was more poppy than anything. Which is fine with me, I like pop! =o) I loved their harmonies though.

Well, some Southern Gospel is rather pop-ish, so I guess that's why. ;) I tend to like the more pop-style SG, anyway. I'm not big on the old-fashioned quartet style of singing. =P

Your hair is cute, but you know I like wavy better than anything! :-D

Yeah. ;) The thing is, my hair has not been wanting to wave very much lately. *sigh* I've had trouble with it all summer.

I had trouble this summer too (also, with moving to a different climate). The heat doesn't do good things to hair. But I've been giving it extra moisture (it's quite dry here), and the weather is cooling down now, so my hair is responding much better now. :-)

Yeah, I think heat and humidity makes hair limper. Mine always does better in the fall and winter months, so I'm hoping it gets back to it's usual curliness soon! It's always soft and has lots of body though, even when it's not curly, so I don't mind much. ;)
