Extension of sucky holiday...

Jan 03, 2007 12:41

So for the past day and a half I've been stuck in bed. Why? I've had the stomach virus from hell, complete with a lovely touch of "carousel" style vertigo ( Read more... )

Oh no! {{{Panthy}}} Feel better! If that isn't a sign to start the leave now, I don't know what is ;)

I have a dr. appointment tomorrow, but otherwise I'm going to stay home tomorrow as well. I want to be sure I'm over this totally (plus not give it to my coworkers, that would just be mean.

It's the kid telling you that you should have come to the NYE party. He wants you to remember the aftermath of drinking heavily (puking) without actually drinking.

Go kid!

Yeah, it sucks. I should at least have been able to drink the wine I have saved up before I stumble around like an idiot.

I'm glad I didn't see you all though, I'd hate for you guys to get it too.

Actually, I thought we saw you guys on Saturday - and we didn't catch it. So there!

I'm thinking Sunday, with E. again. I'm thinking I might have caught it going into the hospital on Monday. Hard to say, though. It is apparently everywhere right now.

Can't blame this one on Mr. Panthy's workplace. He's been off since before Xmas.

MAN! You are having all kinds of fun! I'm so jealous!

Happily, you didn't catch this from us - I would have felt guilty for years (or at least hours) if you had gotten it from us - but we didn't ever come down with the pukes. *snickers*

Take care!!

I'm glad I didn't see A on Sunday. I'd hated for her to think she gave me this.

Who knows where the hell this came from. Out of left field, I think. The nurse said it's going around a LOT right now. She wouldn't have been so concerned if I wasn't dealing with the GD and the glyburide.

All's well though, no IV, so I'm happy. I'm still a bit dizzy, trying to get a bunch more naps in, but Spawn seems fine.

spawn kicking is probably protesting the rough treatment! LOL
Apparently no ill effects to the little one. I hope you feel better.

Nope. To be truthful, it was probably better for me to get it while Spawn is on the inside (and protected with my immune system) than on the outside.

Plus I'm not either in labor or trying to deal with a newborn with this. That would have sucked.

Too true - I guess then I'm glad it happened when it did - still sucks that it happened at all. What matters most is you and spawn are ok...

Ick! Glad to hear that all is well and you're feeling better.

Yep, much better. I'm still dizzy but now I'm keeping food down so life is much better.

I'm just so happy I didn't go into labor yesterday. That would have been the ultimate in sucky. I'm still not 100%, so I'll be off again tomorrow, but last night I told Mr. Panthy I wanted to die. Tonight is much better than that. Heh.

Nothing makes a stomach bug more "enjoyable" than someone kicking your stomach from the inside. Whee!
