I was speaking last night with Kieran's group interventionist, Susan, and Kieran's EA, Cheryl. They have met each other at some workshops and we all sit together. It's nice. I know they aren't there specifically for Kieran but for other kids too, but it's great to know I have a village to count on and rely on ( Read more... )

My issue isn't with the kids that get K into Kieran... it's the parents! The parents do nothing! They know thier kids are acting inappropriately. Some actually know they are setting a child up to get in trouble. Kieran innocently copies because he thinks that he is being a friend and friends play together. So after the whole student loan thing, I take K to the drs. School is not going well and it seems to be because of the meds. So I go in thinking that we would just lower the dosage. UGH! I hate having student loans. For the first time, I don't qualify for interest relief since Ry makes too much. So even though the take home pay is half of the gross, they still look at the gross. Things are going so much better with home life. Ry is finally settling down looking at himself, and we are getting along much better. We are communicating better and finding resolutions are still hard, but we are both trying to see each other's perspective and meld our lives together.
