Yes I realize what time it is and no, much like every other time, I don't give a pirate's left wooden testicle...or something like that.

I hate having long, reflective moments about the future.  More importantly, I hate when these moments occur without warning.  While many people enjoy taking a derisory, almost laughable amount of time developing ( Read more... )

I agree, planning ahead sucks. I still need to decide what to do with my life as well. I prefer, however, to take things one day at a time. I know eventually it will bite me in the ass, but at least I will enjoy life more (or thats what I am telling myself).

Question: are you going to teach even if you go to Graduate school, cause if so you may want to wait to go that way you get paid more later in life. Masters degree = big raise if already teaching

Yeah, this is a point that other people have made as well. While getting a Master's degree might help me later in my career, some people think that if I get it now it might actually hurt me in the short run because not as many schools would be willing to pay someone so much right off the bat. Damn the stingy school systems...

Good luck with whatever you decide. We'll miss you if you leave. But I'm probably going out of state when I'm done with college too, so its all good.

Georgia, huh? Sounds good to me, as long as it is semi-close to the beach. I'm dying to try out my new Speedo bathing suit (okay, you can stop throwing up now). :)

I agree with corius, the higher up your degree, the better the salaries or teaching opporunities. Whatever you decide to do, do it to your heart's content. You have one life to live...might as well make the best of it. Don't hold back, always dream of tomorrow, and most importantly, do what YOU think is best for yourself. And with what Kara said, whatever you decide on, best of luck and we'll miss ya when you go. Take care!

I could always come back and teach one of your senior year art classes...don't tempt me! Wouldn't you like to learn about the history of the evolution of the stick man that everyone draws?

HAHA!! That wouldn't be too bad actually! Anyone can be better than Prof. Davis!! He's an anal old man with a pipe shoved up his ass....worse than Gee. So I'm sure you wouldn't be that bad of a history professor! And who knows...maybe learning about stick men could be interesting! :-P

Of course it would be interesting! Stick men have played a pivotal role in the development of art over the years. Heck, almost every art composition I've ever created has involved them.
