Hello from sunny but slightly cool (weather-wise) Kerrobert. You would be vair vair proud of me, Interweb. I have gone out of the house willingly every day this week. I've even walked through town where people can see me. It's true.

I have nothing intelligent to say--but I love reading your reports on your town. It's so foreign to the place where I grew up. It sounds so much like the Atlantic town where I taught last year, only flat. And with Mennonites. (At least there, there were college kids in their vegan stage eating the tofu cheese at the Save-Easy.)

I, too, love reading reports on K-town. I went through a phase of feeling weird about going about town in Yorkton too. Now, I really like it when I get the chance.

i hate going to my home town, too. everywhere's a gauntlet. i live in fear of running into former friends and boyfriends and crushes and teachers and i also spend the whole time feeling very unfashionable, unmarried, and fat. in short, i spend the whole time feeling like a goddamed librarian.

good for you for braving the elements!!!
