Near Death Experience

So, last Wednesday I had an event with a local newspaper personality, to launch his new book. His book is basically a history told from the Cree perspective, from the creation stories up til...I don't know, I haven't read the book yet. Eh, it's a book reading, not a heart transplant. People who came to see him stayed, and we sold lots of books. All-in-all, it went well.

Also, he's very friendly and funny. If he'd been an ass, my hackles would have been raised a bit more.

if i had a novel published i would always come on time, and i would always wear a cute outfit, and i would ALWAYS behave. and if i didnt, i would apologize.

perhaps this is why i'm as of yet unpublished?

I don't think the possibility of your being a good and responsible person when your time comes is preventing you from publishing. However, I would especially expect you to apologize if you did not wear a cute outfit to your launch...and also, if you did not wear a cute outfit to another person's event. I'm watching you, Sleeves.

Although C. from the store was talking about quantum physics last night while we were putting away chairs, and how the possibility of something actually has an effect on the universe...so you never know...
