remember when i said kalan's sister's husband was the only one who's really rabid about his republican views? yeah, this is what i'm talking about. she sent me this email earlier to "make me laugh".

your MIL argues like a 5-year-old child. i was looking at your blog entries on myspace to see what they've been saying and at least your SIL tries to debate. your MIL just pops up every now and then to post, "the winner is..... mccain!"

it's like, yeah that's what a retard does, just shouts the name of the thing he/she likes. what the hell kind of adult conversation includes announcing the guy you like is the winner, no discussion?

i was worried about you, glad you posted an update. i'm really glad you guys have a plan together. not that it helps or makes any difference but chris getting on some anxiety pills really helped us get through a rough patch a while back.

maybe you should cut them a little slack. they're just all panicked because they know mccain has zero chance of actually becoming president.

i haven't spoken to my dad about politics in so long. definitely not since before mccain picked palin. i kinda wonder if my dad's still planning on voting for mccain, but i don't want to even start a discussion about it.

Janna, I hope you and Kalan can work through your marriage troubles. One of my sisters is going through a rough patch with her marriage, too. I can imagine how hard it must be for you both.

As for McLame, did you read the bio in Rolling Stone about him? You may have already mentioned it, but I don't remember. Anyway, the man comes across as a total turd who'll do or say anything as long as it benefits himself. I'm sure your mother-in-law and sister-in-law would either outright refuse to read the article, or read it and claim it's a hit piece, but a lot of the assertions come from McCain's own autobiography, as well as his old war buddies and classmates. His nicknames were "Punk" and "McNasty". Yeah, let's put that guy in the White House. :(
