The mind is willing, but the body weak.

There was a time, not that long ago, when a pleasant night involved a half-bottle of whiskey. No longer. My fortitude for liquor has faded with the years.

But whiskey is still my drink of choice.

i like the scotch, i must admit.
or i did like the scotch anyway.

The last few times i drank it involved a low tolerance and
a refusal to drink less than previously.

Shots are vile. Half a two-six was meant to be sipped over ice. And what on earth are you drinking that has a coconut aftertaste? That could be the source of your nausea and nothing to do with being a lightweight or not. *g*
